FORD FOCUS ST
Get their hands on the variant of the Ford Focus ST, and why not? We Americans had no choice but to sit and watch while our comrades abroad must have all the fun of performance driving Focii, who made the forbidden fruit hot sedans, which tend to envy.
Ford promises that the United States have the opportunity to finally have the next generation of ST, which should provide at least 246 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque courtesy of the EcoBoost 2.0-liter mill. The only problem is that high-pot Focus ST is still a year away, but that does not mean we do not see the test mules to travel the roads and test tracks around the world.
Ford says that there are 60 models ST tests throughout California, the German Nürburgring. The tester can look past generation or more pedestrians Focus ST current generation of models, but the big wheels, low profile and dual exhaust pipes going to show that the mules are far from ordinary.
Matthias Tonn, leading to the completion of the design of Ford Europe, said the test is needed to make the next ST shines, adding that engineers are "fine-tuning, testing and re-development of many small but important information to ensure that gains character ST.
And just because the ST will be a trap acting does not mean that Ford is very focused on fuel economy too. Tonn said that the aim is to produce fuel economy class, even with a variation in performance. Mixing efficiency and performance is not an easy task, but Ford got efficient EcoBoost engine technology and fuel economy as a finely tuned electric power steering (EPAS) for all.
